The Association of Military Christian Fellowships was founded in Europe in May 1930 by the Military Christian Fellowships of Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and the United Kingdom. At the AMCF World Conference in 2004 over 130 nations were represented and contact exists with military Christians in many other countries.

AMCF is not an organisation but a family of those MCFs that choose to associate with it for their mutual encouragement and support. It has no headquarters, no budget, no church to which it is affiliated, no nationality and no salaried staff. Its officers, a President and 14 regional Vice Presidents are drawn from all continents and, AMCF being inter-denominational, they are drawn from a variety of Christian traditions and cultures. The two-fold bond that unites those who meet under the biblical banner of “All one in Jesus Christ” (Galatians 3: 28) is faith in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and our experience of military service.

This website is devoted to AMCF work in Europe and supplements the main AMCF site.
